UNESCO, in cooperation with the Egyptian National Commission for UNESCO, announced the opening of applications for UNESCO International Literacy Prizes for the academic year 2024.
UNESCO confirmed that since 1967, the UNESCO International Literacy Prizes have been awarded for excellence and innovation in the field of literacy, and 512 projects and programs implemented by governments, non-governmental organizations and individuals around the world have been recognized, and through these prestigious awards, UNESCO seeks to support effective literacy practices and encourage the promotion of dynamic learning communities.
