Historical Brief

The faculty was established according to Presidential Decree No. 84 of 14/4/1997 to join the medical sector faculties at Minia University. Whereas the pharmacy faculty aims to:

1- Continuous development of academic program offered by the faculty in order to sustain its qualitative upgrading and the continuation of new program in scientific fields and majors needed by various state institutions.

2- Develop the educational process to modernize learning and teaching methods, and continue to establish specialized research laboratories , also, modernize research laboratories in the faculty departments. According to faculty council decree , the faculty awarded the following degrees and diplomas:

- Bachelor of pharmaceutical sciences degree.

- Master's degree in pharmaceutical sciences.

- PhD in pharmaceutical sciences.

- Postgraduate diplomas.
