The Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the Faculty of Pharmacy organized the annual pharmacology competition among students of the clinical pharmacy program at Minia University and Minia National University.

This competition comes as part of the commitment to supporting active learning methods, under the auspices of Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy Prof. Dr. Mustafa Ahmed Fouad, Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Education Prof. Dr. Hatem Abdel-Monsef, and Head of the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology Prof. Dr. Gihan Heiba, and under the supervision of, coordinators of the Pharmacology and Toxicology course Dr. Shaimaa Faisal, Dr. Asmaa Maatouq, and Dr. Alia Fath.

The competition witnessed active participation from fourteen student teams from both universities, amidst an atmosphere of interaction and enthusiasm that reflected the students' preparedness and excellence. Whereas Minia University students win the first and second place, while teams from Minia National University win the third and fourth place, in a display of close academic cooperation and integration between the students of the two institutions.
