The Faculty of Pharmacy held the master's thesis discussion of pharmacist Mustafa Rushdi Qubaisi, demonstrator in the department of pharmaceutical chemistry at the Faculty of Pharmacy at Merit University, titled:

“Design, synthesis and biological evaluation of novel pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidinone derivatives as anticancer and anti-inflammatory agent”

During the discussion, the committee commended the quality of the thesis and its distinguished scientific content. It also commended the researcher's research efforts and the promising results he achieved, which may open new horizons in the design of anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory drugs.

This came under the auspices of Dean of the Faculty and Vice Dean for Graduate Studies &Scientific Research Prof. Mustafa Ahmed Fouad , and Head of Department of Medicinal Chemistry Prof. Iman Bishr.
