Professor Dr. Mustafa Ahmed Fouad, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, held a meeting with the higher committee for the preparation of strategic plan to review the latest developments in preparing the faculty’s strategic plan 2026-2030, and to develop a comprehensive vision for the faculty’s academic, research, and community path during the coming years, in line with the requirements of sustainable development and the rapid transformations in pharmaceutical education.
Whereas the meeting addressed the methodology for preparing the new plan, including updating the vision, mission, and institutional values, conducting a comprehensive environmental analysis of the faculty, assessing strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges, and identifying strategic goals and objectives in accordance with the requirements of the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research 2030, Egypt Vision 2030, and academic accreditation standards.
Dr. Mustafa Fouad emphasized that the plan comes within the framework of a comprehensive development of the work system within the faculty, through improving education and learning, supporting scientific research and innovation, enhancing the capabilities of students and graduates, developing the infrastructure, and improving the efficiency of departments and service units, ultimately leading to enhancing the faculty's competitiveness and its contribution to transforming Minia University into a fourth-generation university.
